Hammond Develops Digital Sigange for ITW Powertrain Fastening

After an extensive search for a top notch digital signage solutions company, ITW Powertrain Fastening determined that their top selection was located literally in their own backyard, Hammond Communications Group (HCG), headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky. Working closely with department heads, IT and potential users, HCG developed a comprehensive yet easy to operate digital signage system which would be deployed to ITW PF's lobby, break room and shop floor. Each display contains ITW PF's current corporate branding information while the remainder of the informative content is specific to each location.

Digital signage located inITW Powertrain Fastening’s lobby displays a user-managed text crawl at the bottom of the screen, while the main whitespace area displays eye-catching videos and images relative to ITW PF’s services and ‘big-name’ clients so that potential new customers can be informed when entering the facility. Digital signage in ITW PF's break room integrates a headline news text crawl, an embedded HD TV signal as well as HR and production messages, while digital signage on the shop floor contains the same content minus the TV signal.

Based upon the success of the program, Hammond and ITW Powertrain Fastening have already begun discussion on implementing a ‘Phase 2’ where additional media players and displays will be added to ITW PF's existing facility, as well as to remote facilities, while all communicating with the same Scala Content Manager Server.
